Just walked out of DIGGER (2026) — spoiler-free out of the theater reaction. Went in cold off the trailer and got a big, ambitious satire from Alejandro G. Iñárritu. Will breaks down why Tom Cruise shows some of his best range in years, why Riz Ahmed shines, plus key turns from John Goodman and Jesse Plemons, how the frantic direction and aesthetic serve the story, and why the themes and ending tie together — and why this one is going to be polarizing.
No spoilers. Just first reaction.
